When I think back to my time at Arizona State University, it feels like a beautiful mosaic of cultures, creativity, and connection. One of my most unforgettable memories was hiking “A” Mountain at sunrise with friends—it was our way of shaking off the stress of midterms and reminding ourselves of the stunning desert landscape we were lucky to call home.

I loved being part of the international events on campus—there was always something happening, whether it was a global fair, a dance night, or a food festival where you could savor cuisines from across the world and feel right at home, no matter where you were from.

Design North was where I spent countless hours sketching, dreaming, and collaborating, while Hayden Library became my secret haven—especially the quiet corners where I could recharge with a cup of tea and reflect. There's a special kind of calm in that building, even when everything else feels like a whirlwind.

One of the most electric experiences I had was attending my first Sun Devils football game at Desert Financial Arena. I didn’t fully understand the game at first, but the energy in the crowd, the marching band, the fireworks—it was impossible not to get swept up in the school spirit. That night, decked out in maroon and gold, I felt like part of something so much bigger.

ASU gave me more than an education—it gave me friendships I’ll always cherish, memories that still make me smile, and a deep belief in my own creativity and resilience. No matter where I go, I’ll always carry a piece of the desert sun with me.

Forks up!
