ASU Cares Weekend 2026

Every March, ASU alumni across the nation participate in service projects to uplift their communities. This year, in partnership with Valley of the Sun United Way, the ASU community is working to reduce food insecurity. 

Join us Friday, March 27 and Saturday, March 28 to help expand access to resources and create sustainable, long-term impact across the Valley and beyond.

FAQs

ASU Cares is open to all ASU alumni, friends, family members, fans, community members and students. Please note that some activities have age requirements.

No prior volunteer experience is needed. All necessary guidance will take place at your volunteer site.  

Absolutely! If your schedule allows, we’d love for you to volunteer both days.

Please click the registration link and indicate which activity you’d like to volunteer for.

Please see each site for age requirements. St. Vincent de Paul Farm in Mesa is the only event that does not have age restrictions.
 

All volunteers should wear comfortable clothing. ASU gear and closed-toed shoes are highly encouraged regardless of your activity. Please bring a form of identification for any waivers needed onsite, a reusable water bottle and your Sun Devil spirit! Hats, sunglasses, sunscreen and long pants are encouraged for those volunteering on the farms.

In 2025, 350 volunteers participated in 33 projects nationwide and internationally, contributing a total of 1,413 volunteer hours. 

From park cleanups and food drives to mentoring youth, ASU Cares month offers unique opportunities for every Sun Devil interested in giving back.
