I graduated from a university that went out of business. It was a small, private school, and ASU took me into their Recreation, Leisure and Tourism Studies in the College of Public Programs. I was General Manager of a Hilton hotel in Mesa, Az and wanted my graduate degree so that I could teach, land a job at Deloitte and add to my knowledge and credentials. I ended up teaching Entrepreneurship in the Watts College at ASU for over 10 years, working at Deloitte and starting my own consulting business in San Diego after getting married. I currently sit on the Leadership Council for ASU because it is an amazing university and I have no problem telling the world how great it has become and helping any Sun Devils. My daughter, Melissa, also graduated from ASU's Cronkite School.
