ASU brings back memories of beautiful buildings, MU food, and Cru (Campus Crusades for Christ). I spent a LOT of my small grant refund money at Jamba Juice in the MU. I met my husband during my very late astronomy class. It has to be the best part of my ASU experience. For one semester, I got to sit next to this guy, while also watching the professor geek out in the best way over planets, stars, and our entire galaxy. I recall seeing in the great lecture hall a vivid documentary about the weather on various planets that blew me away. It's funny though, because I didn't pursue science. It just was a fun option for my science credit. It was meant-to-be since I met my husband, who I didn't even marry until 2020. I actually got my degree in Early Childhood / Special Ed (after NOT getting into the music school to pursue becoming a choir teacher). Music (singing, specifically) is still my favorite part of living. I'm not a famous singer, but I sing in every church I am part of as I move around as an Air Force wife. As for my teaching degree, I bounced around between infant and toddler classrooms and up to 2nd grade when I student taught. Tons of preschool experience in between 2015-2018. Now, I create digital resources for teachers, even though I'm not currently teaching in a classroom. I did for a time teach via VIPKid (now VIPTeacher) and Outschool, but I truly love keeping a foot in the door being a resource creator. All of my interests have blended nicely into this life of being a military wife. I regret not getting any pics with my husband from our days in 2012 semester, though!
