Founders' Day Alumni Achievement Award
The Alumni Achievement Award is presented annually at the Founders' Day event to an alumnus/alumna who has excelled in his or her profession and has contributed to Arizona State University and/or the ASU Alumni Association and the community.
Selection criteria:
In order to qualify, a nominee must be an ASU graduate. As the achievement award primarily recognizes excellence and professional accomplishment, a nominee is judged by:
- Significant achievement in his or her professional field.
- Contribution to Arizona State University and/or the ASU Alumni Association.
- Contribution to the national or local community.
To successfully submit an application, please submit the following:
- One letter of recommendation
- A list of accomplishments, achievements, volunteer involvement and work history.
The Founders’ Day award committee’s decision is final. In addition, the following conditions apply.
If selected, the nominee should be:
- In attendance at the event, held in the Spring in Phoenix, Arizona. Learn more about Founders’ Day event details.
- Available and open for photo/video shoot and/or any interviews needed for the event production.
Founders' Day Young Alumni Achievement Award
The Young Alumni Achievement Award is presented annually to an alumnus/alumna who attended Arizona State University within the last 15 years, has excelled in his or her profession and contributed to Arizona State University and/or the ASU Alumni Association and the community.
Selection criteria:
In order to qualify, a nominee must have graduated from ASU within 15 years before the date the award is presented. As the achievement award primarily recognizes excellence and professional accomplishment, a nominee is judged by:
- Significant achievement in his or her professional field.
- Contribution to Arizona State University and/or the ASU Alumni Association.
- Contribution to the national or local community.
To successfully submit an application, please submit the following:
- One letter of recommendation
- A list of accomplishments, achievements, volunteer involvement and work history.
