I was the first Black president of the Pre-Law Society at Arizona State University, a role that shaped both my confidence and my purpose. Leading the organization meant more than holding a title. It meant creating space for students who, like me, didn’t always see themselves represented in the legal pipeline. Through mentorship events, law school preparation workshops, and honest conversations about navigating the profession, I learned how to lead with clarity, empathy, and conviction.

ASU gave me the platform to turn ambition into action. The relationships I built with fellow students, mentors, and advisors taught me how to advocate for others while holding myself to a high standard of excellence. My time at ASU prepared me not only for law school, but for leadership rooted in service, resilience, and values I continue to carry forward today at Georgetown Law as a first year student.
