Arizona State University played a huge role in my success in that it provided me the supportive environment I needed to thrive academically. Being able to focus solely on my studies, thanks to the support of my family, allowed me to truly immerse myself in my coursework. This ultimately led to graduating cum laude with a 3.55 GPA, a significant personal accomplishment — and now, the different avenues of law and criminal justice have opened up for me.

Without a doubt, my favorite memory is the New College of Interdisciplinary Arts and Sciences convocation graduation ceremony in December 2024 at the Desert Financial Arena. Seeing my entire family — my uncles, grandmother, siblings, mom and dad — there to celebrate my achievement was incredibly moving. The explosion of confetti and balloons perfectly captured the joy and excitement of that moment. It was the culmination of all my hard work and a truly unforgettable experience.
