Racheal Esquer, ’21 BA, ‘24 MA

I graduated first generation Cum Laude with my BA in History in 2021 and decided to pursue my Masters degree. I was following a promise to my late grandfather that I would get my degree from ASU. He retired from ASU in the late 80’s. Being a WWII veteran, his story became my passion. I received my Masters degree in World War II Studies in December 2024, fulfilling my promise to him. ASU has helped me achieve my dreams and goals to become a historian. I hope with the education I received, I can share my grandfather’s story and my passion for history with a new generation.
