Kateri Wozny, ’22 MA

ASU was always my dream school and I attended ASU Online for my M.A. in Communication. It was one of the best decisions I ever made! 

You would think it would be hard to make friends virtually but I was able to connect with three classmates who shared common interests. I was also encouraged by my professors on how to excel in my studies and one even told me, "You were meant to be a graduate student!" The program was very doable, challenging and straight-forward. If I ever had a question, my professors responded in a timely manner. I live in Los Angeles and was even able to attend the graduation ceremony in person. It was an exciting moment and I highly recommend attending to see the campus and explore the Phoenix area! 

ASU set me up for success to land an even better job after I graduated. The skills I learned still carry through in my profession as I continue to help my company grow. I also volunteer with the ASU LA Alumni Chapter for events. I wrote a blog that was featured in the Hugh Downs School of Communication website about my experience with the program, I highly recommend checking it out.I am very proud to be a Sun Devil alumna!
