The ASU Alumni Association provides the opportunity for ASU graduates living outside of the U.S. to participate in International Connections where you can meet and socialize with other alumni who live in your country or geographic region. ASU Alumni International Connections have three primary areas of focus: to provide a support network for alumni and offer professional and social engagement opportunities; to serve as a point of contact for ASU dignitaries traveling overseas; and to assist with student relations and admissions outreach in partnership with the International Admissions office.

Hong Kong Connection Coordinator Mike Zamora and his son Michael with ASU’s own Bo Barnes at one of the PAC-12 All-Star games played in China last week. Barnes was one of 13 men’s basketball student-athletes sent by the PAC-12 on a four game all-star tour of China as part of its Globalization Initiative. Click here to read more.
ASU President Michael Crow was one of five panelists on a discussion panel titled “The Role of Business in Shaping the Future of Education.” The evening was hosted by the Hinrich Foundation and the Asia Society on October 21, 2014 in Hong Kong. The panel explored the innovative ways companies are taking to put education at the core of their corporate strategy as well as the role of government in developing a more effective tertiary education. ASU alumni living Hong Kong attended the event.
