Sun Devil Generations: Fingerpaint the ‘A’

Do what only a select few Arizona State University students get to do: Paint the “A”! Public painting of the ASU “A” was outlawed in 2002, but Sun Devil Generations members and their families are invited to participate in this exclusive opportunity!

This event is free. You must be a Sun Devil Generations member to participate. Please RSVP in advance.

If you’re not yet a Sun Devil Generations member, register today  so you can help us paint the “A”!

Additional instructions

Please meet at the base of “A” Mountain at the intersection of College Avenue and Veterans Way (just east of the Valley Metro Light Rail station).

Wear comfortable clothing and shoes that can get dirty. The paint will not wash out. Also, please note that the uphill climb will take approximately 10 minutes and includes a dirt path, some steps and pavement. The terrain around the “A” is steep and rocky, and we strongly advise that each child be accompanied by an adult.
