Community Awards

Since 1901, the Alumni Association has presented accomplished alumni, students and friends with distinguished awards. Our goal is to recognize outstanding achievement and service to Arizona State University, the Alumni Association and the community beyond the university.

Our alumni awards include:

Homecoming Awards
The association honors its past board chair, as well as outstanding alumni and/or friends of the university, with recognition at a ceremony during the halftime of ASU's Homecoming game.

Founders' Day Awards
The Alumni Association's Founders' Day Awards Dinner is one of the organization's signature events. Honorees at this event include faculty, staff, alumni and philanthropists whose contributions to the university and the community at large exemplify the pioneering spirit of the founders of the institution that has become Arizona State University.

Sun Devil 100
Sun Devil Select celebrates the achievements of Sun Devil-owned and Sun Devil-led businesses across the globe. Spanning industries and locations, ASU has an incredible history of entrepreneurship and leadership from its students and alumni — all to be invited back to campus to celebrate together.

Our student awards include:

Moeur Award
The Moeur Award was named for Dr. B. B. Moeur, a physician and businessman in Tempe in the early 1900s. The association has presented the Moeur Award since 1901 to those graduates with the highest academic standing who have completed their course work toward their degree while attending ASU with 8 consecutive fall and spring semesters. Recipients are honored at each commencement ceremony.

Outstanding Graduate Award
The association presents its Outstanding Graduate Award to a high-performing graduate in each college. Individual schools and colleges are responsible for selecting their unit's honoree. The award is presented during honors convocations for each school/college.
