isaiah mustafa '97 b.a.

Isaiah Mustafa is a former NFL practice squad wide receiver and currently works as an actor. Mustafa was born in Portland, Ore., and came to Arizona State University on a football scholarship. He started as a wide receiver for the Sun Devils, and was on the ASU 1997 Rose Bowl team, along with quarterback Jake Plummer and linebacker Pat Tillman. After graduating in 1997 with a history degree, Mustafa played on the practice squad of the Tennessee Oilers, Oakland Raiders, Cleveland Browns and the Seattle Seahawks. After the NFL, he turned to acting. He has appeared in movies including “Horrible Bosses,” “The Three Stooges,” “Madea’s Big Happy Family,” and the documentary “Mansome.” He is well known for his role in the Old Spice commercial, “The Man Your Man Could Smell Like,” that was featured during a 2010 advertising campaign.
