My favorite thing about working at Luminosity Lab was the combination of environment and people. There's something about walking into that space where everyone is deep in a hard problem that makes it easy to hit a kind of collective flow state. Good ideas move fast there, and the people push you to think differently than you would alone. Luminosity allowed me to actualize my engineering skills, think like a futurist, and collaborate across disciplines in ways a traditional lab setting rarely allows.

The fact that California has the second-most ASU alumni to Arizona means a lot. ASU has built a reputation as the number one university for innovation, and knowing that community is concentrated in one of the most consequential tech regions in the world suggests that reputation is actively being carried into industry. I hope to add to that.
