When I earned my M.S. in Global Technology and Development from ASU in 2015, I was part of an early wave of online graduate students - but it never felt distant or disconnected. The program was online, yes, but the experience was human. I felt deeply engaged with my professors and classmates, connected through thoughtful discussion, collaborative work, and a shared sense of purpose. It felt like being on the Tempe campus, even while navigating my studies just down the road in Phoenix.

What drew me to this program was its bold, interdisciplinary lens - applying technology, development, and policy to real-world global challenges. ASU was ahead of the curve then, and I'm so proud to see how that vision has grown into what's now the College of Global Futures under the leadership of Dean Kittilson. The name says it all - this is about equipping changemakers to help ASU help the world at scale.

A decade later, I carry this degree with pride. It sharpened my understanding of global systems, deepened my commitment to public good, and gave me tools I still use today in my work at the intersection of communications, policy, and equity.

Forks up - and here's to the next 10 years of impact.
