When I graduated with my undergraduate degree in Fall of 2020, I did not get the opportunity to walk across the stage and celebrate with others, due to the COVID-19 pandemic. I remember sitting at home and watching the Powerpoint slideshow with my name and picture; my roommates and I cheered, and that was that. Fast forward to 2026, I graduated with my MEd in Higher and Postsecondary Education and had the chance to walk and be amongst peers, friends, and family. I was so nervous that morning because I had not participated in a graduation since high school. Walking across the stage at convocation is a memory that I will never forget. I completed my graduate degree in about 1.5 years while working full-time as an Academic Success Advisor here at ASU, and I am really proud of that accomplishment. Now, I get to apply my graduate degree to the work I do everyday, and I am so grateful to ASU for this opportunity!
