Legends Luncheon: Coach Frank Kush and His Teams

ASU alumni and supporters relived Sun Devil football history with former ASU head coach Frank Kush and his 1958-1979 teams at Legends Luncheon on Oct. 28, 2011.

Coach Kush led the Sun Devils to nine conference titles, went 6-1 in bowl games and had two undefeated teams while coaching at ASU. His list of honors includes being named the 1975 National Coach of the Year, induction into the College Football Hall of Fame in 1995, and the naming of the Sun Devil Stadium playing field in 1996!

The luncheon was filled with lots of stories about Coach Kush from those who played during that era, tributes to the legendary college football coach and video highlights from the gridiron.
